What this site keeps

We count how many times each listing is viewed and how many times its Call and Website buttons are clicked. We keep that count for each listing, and any listed business can ask us for its numbers. This site sets no cookies of its own. We don’t save IP addresses.

Ads on our guides

Guide pages show ads from Google AdSense. Listing, town, service and home pages load no ad code.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this site and other sites. Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners choose ads based on those visits. If you’re visiting from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you get non-personalized or limited ads, or none. Google’s page on how it uses information from sites that use its services has the details: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Opting out

You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings. Many other ad vendors let you opt out through aboutads.info/choices.

Forms

The add-listing, claim and contact forms store what you type into them: a business name, contact name, email, phone, website, town and message, depending on which form and fields you fill in. Cloudflare Turnstile, which sees your IP address, checks each submission before we accept it. If you want a submission removed, write to us and we’ll take it down.
